Of Lawn Chairs and Crazy Neighbors

Most of us haven't been lucky enough to get to this point in our lives without dealing with some kind of neighbor drama. Either it's an issue over parking, over loud parties, maybe a tree growing over a fence, whatever. Sometimes these are just annoying, sometimes they get really ugly. But few of us have had the joy of dealing with the outright crazy neighbor...like, in this case, one who feels a pair of lawn chairs are an eyesore that "obstruct his view" from his bedroom window. And one who plans to take legal action if the situation is not remedied.

The email exchanges regarding this are quite entertaining. Click on the images to see them full-sized for easier reading.

Ah, we just found out that our crazy neighbor in West Hollywood (You know, the one who used to put his speakers up against the wall, turn his stereo all the way up, and go out for the evening? And then tried to convince us to sell our place to him? The one that decided we had dented his car, so he keyed Andy's car? That crazy neighbor?)... Anyway, he's been foreclosed on. How brilliant is that? Every time I think of it I start giggling - out loud. It's the small things in life...

lol my brother had a similar situation with a crazy guy next door who practiced with his band at full blast at all hours of day and night, wandered around drunk and/or high, picked fights and just generally pissed off the whole neighborhood.

he died. heart-attack, overdose, choked on vomit? nobody knows, but :)
