Just a Gorram Coincidence?
"Serenity - Better Days" #2 - Dark Horse Comics, April 2007
Hey, did Tim and I get ripped off? AWESOME! Since Joss did write (or at least plot) it, and I did hand him a Nice Guy card at the Serenity premiere and suggest he take a look at the strip on our site, I'm gonna sit here and think so and be flattered. If something we did got into the master's head, even subconsciously, that's all KINDS of shiny.

You non-Browncoats are probably pretty confused right now, aren't you?

Certainly looks like a homage to your strip to me. How cool is that?

I think it's a test to you and Tim to see how dedicated you are!
Congratulations! You passed! Now, Joss will invite you to his private fun land, known as Whedon World - A park filled with imagination, only that everything is constructed out of mounds and mounds of crumpled paper, broken mechanical pencil structures and pen furniture, keyboard key-tiled walkways, monstrous cork-board walls with enormous posters with unfinished "ideas" held by Giant tacks, and the airwaves filled with that neo-folk indie-rock the kids are listen'n to nowadays. Maybe he'll ask you to be the custodial engineer of his play area......wouldn't that be fun?!

Apparently, Joss aimed to misbehave!
